Cookies and Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-ZNR5291KJT), a service provided by Google, to count visits and to see which pages are used, for example which pages lead to enquiries, calls and WhatsApp messages. Google Analytics sets its own cookies in your browser (named _ga and names starting _ga_) and records information such as the pages you view, roughly where you are, the type of device and browser you use and how you arrived at the site. When you send an enquiry it is told that an enquiry was sent, which service it was for and which page it came from, but not your name or contact details. Google may process this information outside the UK.
The analytics script loads a few seconds after the page has finished loading, or when you first click, tap or type on the page. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and you can stop Google Analytics recording your visits with Google's browser add on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
The site also uses:
- A session cookie and a security cookie that are needed for the enquiry form to work and to protect it from misuse.
- Browser storage (not cookies) holding a random visitor code, so that our own simple visit records can group the pages viewed in one visit. It does not contain your name or contact details.
- Our own records of page views and of taps on the phone and WhatsApp links, kept on our server so we can see which pages help customers get in touch.
